A competent professional, Guru Naveen Kumar is skilled in playing various drum instruments such as the Dholak, Tabla, Pakhavaj, Congo and Bongo. He attained his training in Pakhavaj from the Kathak Kendra in Delhi and has since been propagating Indian music through his teachings amongst the students of both India and overseas.
He taught Tabla at the Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidhyalaya Mandal College in Delhi, before teaching the Tabla, Dholak and Pakhavaj at Triveni Kala Sangam.
He has been an instructor for summer camps organized by Bal Bhavan in Delhi and worked as a third secretary of the cultural sector, High Commission of India in Malaysia. While in Malaysia he conducted lessons as part of a cultural exchange program organized by the ICCR. He has been a participant in numerous music festivals and has accompanied artists like Smt. Uma Sharma.
The classes are open for children ( 6 years + ) and adults
