What must be kept hidden to survive? In The Speaking Wall-II, Harshvardhan Sharma explores the self through reflections, wide-eyed portraits, colour and abstraction.
Moving between the visible and the concealed, his canvases bring together fragments of identity, memory and emotion. As M. Insha observes, the works carry a quiet yet compelling power, inviting us to consider the movement of the self and the possibilities of abstraction.
