This and That

I paint on paper with acrylic paints and sometimes use acrylic pens too.
There is an assorted range of themes in my paintings. This is because I find it hard to stay put with just one subject!
In order to describe my style, I have composed this poem for my “artist statement “ and titled my exhibition after
the poem.

This and That
From the hills to the plains flat,
There is this and also that.
For just one moment the monkey sat,
Was there something to be looked at?
To see and not be seeing,
Was just so very freeing.
Thought after thought kept fleeing,
Ah! The wonderful lightness of being.
