About This Class
Faculty
Dr Ajeet Singh, trained in Tabla, Kathak and Hindustani Classical Music. A published scholar in the same field, for over 10 years, he was enlisted as a regular classical singer at All India Radio (AIR). In 2017, he received his PhD from Delhi University in Hindustani Classical Music (Vocal). As an experienced composer, performer and an instrumentalist, he continues to grow his practice and trains students.
- Composer: Lok Dhuns, Bhajans, Gazals, Geets, Pop Songs, Kawalis, Thumri, Dhurpads, Dhamars etc.
- Stage Performance: Classical Music: Presentation of Vilambhit Khyals, Drut Khayals, Thumaris, Dhurpads & Dhamars etc.
- Instruments: Sangat (as an accompanying artist) by playing Harmonium, Keyboard, Piano, Tabla and Dholak etc
