Department of Architecture, School of Planning and Architecture

School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi (SPA New Delhi), is an institution of national importance imparting education in planning, architecture, and design. Renowned for academic excellence, Department of Architecture, founded in 1941, offers five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree program. It is focusing on the design and construction of buildings within social, technical, and environmental contexts. The thesis is a standalone final-year project that encourages students to address contemporary challenges through innovative design approaches based on rigorous research under the supervision of thesis guides. The first-degree show of Department of Architecture is an exhibition of thesis projects of the batch graduating in May 2026. It provides a snippet of 147 projects of various kinds located across the country.
