Inspired by the story of renowned artist Ganesh Haloi, this hands-on session shows how real life, personal memories, and big life changes can be turned into powerful visual art and comic panels.What Is This Workshop About?
When artist Ganesh Haloi was a young boy in 1950, his life changed completely due to the Partition, forcing him to move away from his home. Years later, he used his experiences to build a whole new world through art.
In this workshop, you will learn how to take your own memories, places you have visited, or personal stories and express them on paper through comics. You don't need to be a master illustrator—just bring your imagination and a story to tell.
