The Website is operated by Triveni Kala Sangam, which is a non-profit society, located at 205, Tansen Marg, New Delhi, 110001, India (the “Centre”).
The Website is provided for the information and convenience of Triveni Kala Sangam patrons and to support our mission to promote performing arts and education throughout India.
These terms and conditions of use (“Terms”) and our privacy policy available at https://www.trivenikalasangam.org/privay-policy (“Privacy Policy”) govern your use of the Website. In these Terms, ‘us’ or ‘we’ or ‘our’ refer to Triveni Kala Sangam and operator of the Website. The terms ‘user’, ‘you’, or ‘your’ refer to the user or viewer of the Website.
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Website as they constitute a legal agreement between Triveni Kala Sangam and you. By using the Website, you signify that you have understood the Terms, provide your assent and agreement to these Terms, and affirm that you are able and legally competent to do so.
These Terms constitute an electronic record within the meaning of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules and regulations framed thereunder, as may be amended from time to time.
Please note that Triveni Kala Sangam may from time-to-time offer or contract with third parties to provide certain features, services and/or offerings on the Website, including but not limited to events, collaboration opportunities, etc. In such cases the terms for such features, services and/or offerings may be in addition to these Terms.
Every effort is made to keep the Website up and running smoothly. However, Triveni Kala Sangam assumes no responsibility for and will not be liable for the Website being temporarily unavailable due to technical or other issues beyond our control.
Updates to these Terms
We reserve the right to make any change from time to time to these Terms so please check back regularly to keep informed of updates. The latest version of these Terms will be available on the Website. Any new version of these Terms shall take effect and will govern the use of the Website and your relationship with us immediately upon the date of posting and will supersede all previous versions of the Terms. By continuing to use the Website, you agree to be bound by such updated and amended Terms.
Registration of users on the Website
You may be required to create an account in order to register attendance or purchase tickets to events, workshops, and classes at Triveni Kala Sangam via the Website, as well as to purchase products, and to access certain other features. Your account will save information about upcoming performances or other events for which you have purchased tickets via the Website. When you register for an account, you will be asked about your contact information and communications preferences. You may not transfer your account to anyone else without our prior written permission. By completing the registration process on the Website, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You are not allowed to share your account or password with anyone, and you must protect the security of your account and your password. You should inform us immediately if you have any reason to believe that your password has become known to anyone else, or if the password is being, or is likely to be, used in an unauthorized manner. The materials/ content displayed or performed or available on or through the Website and/or at the Centre, by Triveni Kala Sangam, including, but not limited to, text, graphics, data, articles, photos, images, including any person represented in the photographs, illustrations, icons, video clips, music, maps, course material, programme brochures, are protected by copyright and/or other intellectual property laws of India, and wherever applicable in other countries, and is owned by or licensed to Triveni Kala Sangam. While Triveni Kala Sangam has necessary rights for the material or content displayed or shared or made available on or through the Website by other-third parties using or renting our premises or for promotion of any event, Triveni Kala Sangam will not be liable for such third-party material or content and any claims or disputes with regard to the same will be on the third-party who submitted the same.
The Triveni Kala Sangam trademark and other program names and logos may be registered and unregistered trademarks and service marks of Triveni Kala Sangam and may not be used without permission. Nothing on the Website shall be construed as granting any license to use any trademark displayed on the Website, whether owned by the Center or any third party without the express written permission of the owner of the trademark.
This Website and the content therein are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use by the users of this Website. You may not copy content from this Website, or otherwise modify, obscure or delete any copyright or other proprietary notices on this Website. No right, title or interest in any materials or software, if applicable, on this Website is transferred to you from your use of this Website. You may not reproduce, copy, publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or participate in any sale of, or exploit in any way, in whole or in part, any of the content, this Website, or any related software without the prior written authorization of Triveni Kala Sangam. The information on this Website has been included in good faith and is for general purposes only. Details of performances/concerts/events on the Website are subject to change without prior notice.

Media Disclaimer: For all material, promotions, written articles, photographs, videos or any other form of promotion, you hereby give complete and unconditional consent and permission to Triveni Kala Sangam to publish, print or circulate any electronic, digital, print, audio, visual publication or presentation containing your photos, performance or activity for the promotion of Triveni Kala Sangam or for any other promotional content of Triveni Kala Sangam (including but not limited to audio clips, video clips, reels, photographs, written articles of which you may be part, either singly or part of group), in any form of media, online or offline. You further agree that you shall not claim or be entitled to any payment or compensation from Triveni Kala Sangam for the same or in relation thereto or for matters arising out of publishing, printing or circulation or consequences thereof. Therefore, you agree that the licenses you grant are royalty-free, perpetual, sublicensable, irrevocable, and worldwide.
Admission and payment of fees
Some courses and workshops are offered to both minors / children and adults, while certain programs are available only for adults. Please note that events, classes, and exhibitions may be cancelled or rescheduled at our discretion and is subject to the refund policy below.
The management at Triveni Kala Sangam may, at its sole and absolute discretion, refuse to accept registration applications for admission of any student.
All fees are due and payable in advance or at least seven (7) days before the beginning of the month. Please note that monthly payment of tuition fees will be accepted only by crossed cheque (Payee’s A/c), debit or credit card, UPI or NEFT/Net Banking or online payment portal through our Website and in the name of Triveni Kala Sangam. We do not accept cash payments. Please contact the office at the Centre for admission and payments.
Students will be expected to provide the following details for admission as part of our online google form or offline admission process, including but not limited to name, date of birth, present address, parent/guardian name (as applicable), email id of student and parent/guardian (as applicable), phone number of student and parent/guardian (as applicable), nationality, identity card, etc. Such information provided shall be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. The type of information to be provided depends on the classes or workshop the student has opted for as part of various departments/courses offered by us. Triveni Kala Sangam will not be responsible for independently verifying any information provided by the students or conducting any KYC verifications.
At Triveni Kala Sangam, we aim to foster a positive and culturally rich learning environment. Students are expected to maintain high standards of behaviour and should note the following:
- Attendance: Attendance records will be maintained and monitored regularly in classrooms. Students are required to inform the instructor or program coordinator as soon as possible regarding any expected absences. A minimum of 75% attendance has to be maintained to qualify the course and receive the certificate. Only students who have been offered the admission can attend the classes, and the admission is non-transferable.
- Examinations and grant of certificate: Triveni Kala Sangam will conduct both written and practical examinations at the end of the course. Any student who has not passed such examinations will be eligible to re-appear for the exam, provided the student has approval from the guru / teacher / program coordinator. The re-examination will be required to take place within a specific period as finalized with the guru / teacher / program coordinator. The student will be granted a certificate only if the student scores a minimum of 40% in both written and practical examinations. This may change at the discretion of Triveni Kala Sangam teachers and staff.
- Behaviour of students: Students must maintain proper decorum at all times (including appropriate dress code, arriving on time, use of proper language and keeping the classrooms clean). Food can be eaten at designated places and not inside classrooms. Any kind of discrimination, harassment or bullying will not be tolerated. Students are expected to treat other peers with kindness, respect and courtesy. Students are required to recognize that their peers come from diverse backgrounds and different cultures and will always be respectful of the same. If a student misbehaves or carries out any disruptive behaviour which hampers the learning of other students, then Triveni Kala Sangam has the right to suspend or dismiss the student from the course.
- Health, safety, and security of students: While Triveni Kala Sangam implements safety and security measures to protect its visitors and students, it cannot guarantee absolute safety as the Centre is a public space and regularly open to exhibitions and workshops. Visitors and students are expected to adhere to the safety norms already in place. Triveni Kala Sangam is not liable for the any health, safety, security (including protection of students or belongings of students or visitors) issues that arise for students, visitors, family members of students on campus and premises. Students are responsible for looking after their own health and medical conditions and must inform Triveni Kala Sangam of any medical issues. Any minors/children participating in courses must be accompanied by parents/guardians at the time of dropping and pick-up.
- Any changes in these above rules for the students will be notified from time to time via email or by means of general circular placed on the notice board.
Refund Policy
In view of the efforts undertaken to plan and arrange for the courses, workshops or exhibitions offered by us, fees once paid is generally not refundable, subject to the following instances:
- In case classes for any course are discontinued by Triveni Kala Sangam or a course is cancelled at any time, we will refund the money for the classes not conducted but paid for by the participants.
- If you are unable to attend the classes or workshops, please notify us as soon as possible so that we may offer the place to another student. However, a refund on course / workshop fee will not be possible.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and defend Triveni Kala Sangam, its affiliates and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all losses, liabilities, actual or pending claims, actions, damages, expenses, costs of defense and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of or relating to your use of the Website, your participation in the courses offered by Triveni Kala Sangam, any negligent or willful misconduct on your part, for your breach of these Terms or any acts committed by you in violation of applicable laws. This indemnification includes, without limitation, liability relating to copyright infringement, defamation, invasion of privacy, trademark infringement and breach of these Terms.
Limitation of liability
Neither Triveni Kala Sangam nor any of its employees, officers, authorized persons, representatives, agents, contractors, or their respective successors or assigns shall be liable for any loss, liability, claim, damage, injury or expense whatsoever (whether direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special or economic, including loss of profits or business opportunity) arising out of or in connection with the access to the content hosted on the Website or any site linked to it, including, without limitation, any loss of profit, loss of data, indirect, incidental or consequential loss, whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other means of action.
All content, information and materials on this Website are provided to you on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranty or guarantee of any kind, either express or implied. Linked Sites are not under the control of Triveni Kala Sangam and Triveni Kala Sangam has not reviewed all of the content contained in the Linked Sites and is not responsible for the content or accuracy of any off-site pages or any other sites linked to any of the Website. You agree that Triveni Kala Sangam may terminate or suspend your access/ registration to and use of the Website if Triveni Kala Sangam reasonably believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of these Terms or violated the rights of Triveni Kala Sangam or any third party, with or without notice to you. You agree that Triveni Kala Sangam may modify or discontinue providing any part of the Website, with or without notice to you. You agree that Triveni Kala Sangam will not be liable to you or any third party as a result of such modification or discontinuation. General Provisions
Unless otherwise specified, the information and materials presented on the Website are presented solely for the purpose of detailing the various Triveni Kala Sangam initiatives and their impact on the society and in certain cases how you may partner with us on the same. Triveni Kala Sangam makes no representation that such material is appropriate or available for use in every country of the world.
If any provision, or part of a provision, of these Terms is found to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall be deemed not to form part of these Terms, and the legality, validity or enforceability of the remainder of the provisions of these Terms shall not be affected, unless otherwise required by operation of applicable law.
The Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the use of the Website, and replace and extinguish all prior agreements, draft agreements, arrangements, undertakings, or collateral contracts of any nature made by the parties, whether oral or written, in relation to such subject matter.
The waiver by Triveni Kala Sangam of a breach of any provision of these Terms will not operate to be interpreted as a waiver of any other or subsequent breach.
If you breach these Terms and we take no immediate action, this does not mean that we will not be entitled to assert our rights and remedies at a later date.
We are committed to safeguard the security and confidentiality of any information you provide to us. We understand that you accept the inherent security implications of providing information over the internet or world wide web and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security or disclosure of personal information. If you become aware of any violation of the security of data, please contact us immediately.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without reference to conflict of law provisions and subject to the arbitration provisions hereinafter, the courts in Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction for resolution of disputes arising from the use of the Website. Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in relation to the Terms, including the validity, invalidity, breach or termination thereof, shall be subject to arbitration in Delhi in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English language by a sole arbitrator appointed by Triveni Kala Sangam. Arbitration awards shall be reasoned awards and shall be final and binding on Triveni Kala Sangam and the disputing user and shall be enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
