Arvind Gaur

Arvind Gaur , Indian theatre director, is known for his work in innovative, socially and politically relevant theatre.His plays deals with communalism, caste issues, feudalism, domestic violence, Crime of State, Politics of power, violence, injustice, social discrimination, marginalisation, and racism. Arvind is the leader of Asmita and is also an actor trainer, social activist and story teller.
Arvind Gaur was the recipient of a research fellowship awarded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (India) (1997-98). He was on the guest faculty of Delhi University for Theatre in education program for three years. He has conducted many theatre workshops and performed in various colleges, institutions, universities and schools in India and abroad.

He has organized theatre workshops for children[ in schools and slums as well as street theatre performances on different socio-political issues. He has directed more than 60 stage plays over two decades.

Kakoli Gaur Nagpal

Kakoli Gaur Nagpal has been working with Asmita theatre group since her childhood. She attended many children theatre workshops major directors and institutions including Barry John, Arvind Gaur, Vk sharma, Lokendra Trivedi, NSD, SKP and IHC.

Her major stage appearance was in Girish karnad's play Rakt- kalyan in 2007. After that she participated in more than 25 stage plays (around 400 stage shows) and more than thousand performances of street plays with Asmita theatre group. 
 
She has also conducted independent children theatre workshops from 2014 onwards. Kakoli Gaur is now a teaching faculty with Asmita Theatre Group working under Arvind Gaur.
Her major stage plays are Mahesh Dattani 's Final Solutions and Tara, Dario Fo 's Accidental death of an Anarchist, Bertolt Brecht's Ramkali (adaptation of Good person of Szechwan), Neil Simon 's Log Baag, Ashok Lal's Ek Mamooli Aadmi, Mote Ram ka Satyagraha play based on Munshi Prem Chand's story Swadesh Deepak's Court Martial, Rajesh Kumar 's play Godse @Gandhi.com, Hindu Code Bill, The last Salute and Ambedkar Aur Gandhi, Asghar Wajahat ' s play Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya Woh Jamyai Nai Ismat Chughtai 's Lihaaf and Unsuni. 
These Stage plays has been performed at various theatre Festivals like Sahitya Kala Parisad, National School of drama, IHC and META etc. 
She actively worked in various street plays dealing with social issues, performed in Delhi NCR. Her major Street Plays are Dastak, Mard, Kudrat, Interfaith, Domestic help, Sapne, Aajivika, Vo Din, Old age (Budhapa), Corruption, Muhim, anti drugs and Mausam etc.
 
Kakoli received Sarla Devi Birla Award at Bimtech. She also felicitated by many organizations for her contribution in theatre.
 
 
 
Prince Nagpal
 
Prince has been conducting independent children theatre workshops since 2014. He is now a teaching faculty with Asmita Theatre Group working under Arvind Gaur. 
 
His major stage plays are Mahesh Dattani 's Final Solutions and Tara, Dario Fo's Accidental death of an Anarchist, Bertolt Brecht 's Ramkali (adaptation of Good person of Szechwan), Neil Simon 's Log Baag, Ashok Lal's Ek Mamooli Aadmi, Mote Ram ka Satyagraha play based on Munshi Prem Chand's story, Rajesh Kumar 's play Godse @Gandhi.com, The last Salute and Ambedkar Aur Gandhi, Unsuni based on unheard stories. 
These Stage plays has been performed at various theatre Festivals like Sahitya Kala Parisad, National School of drama, IHC and META etc. 
He actively worked in various street plays dealing with social issues, performed in Delhi NCR.
 
 

Saveree Sri Gaur

 
Saveree Gaur is doing theatre since childhood as an actress with Asmita Theatre. She participated in many street plays on different social issues. She attended many children theatre workshops major directors and institutions including Barry John, Vk sharma, Lokendra Trivedi, NSD and SKP. 
Her major stage appearance was in Girish karnad's play Rakt- kalyan in 2007. 
After that she participated in more than 25 stage plays (around 400 stage shows) and more than thousand performances of street plays till 2020 lockdown. 
 
Workshop 
She has also conducted independent children theatre workshops from 2014 onwards. Saveree Gaur is now a teaching faculty with Asmita Theatre Group. She is talented, versatile and passionate theatre actor. known for her hard work, sincerity and commitment for Theatre .

Saveree has received and felicitated by many organizations. 
1. Saveree was Felicitated by Governor of Goa in Iffi Goa 2018 for her feature film Bhor (49th International Film festival of India)
2. She has received World Wide impact award for achievement and hard work in Theatre. 2019 Awarded by Anu malik. 
3. She was nominated and awarded for Top 5 women in india in the field of social change. By Chamber of Trade and Industry World Council, 2018
4. She has received Award for achievement in the field of social change by Ehesas -e -hind (Beti bachao beti padhao) 2019
 
Film
Saveree acted as lead actress in internationally acclaimed feature film "BHOR" directed by kamakhya narayan. Bhor was premiered in 49th International film Festival of India, Goa in indian panorama. 
Film was also screened in major 26 national international Film festivals including Berlin, Melbourne, Ottawa, Cairo, Egypt and Boston film festival.
Bengaluru film festival, Asian film festival pune, Guwahati film festival, Aurangabad film festival, Ranchi film festival, Directorate of films delhi, Habitat film festival delhi, Jagran film festival Patna and Mumbai. 
She has also done Few short films- Fulki (2015), Typewriter (2020), Munna (2022).
